My name is Cecilia Vu and I’m currently a student at the University of Southern California double majoring in Public Relations and Economics. I aspire to become a professional working in Corporate Communications and/or Investor Relations. While I strive towards that goal, I spend most of my free time baking the best S’mores cookies in the world, putting together Pinterest boards, watching F1 races every other weekend and indulging in for-the-girls books. My current favorite is everything I know about love by Dolly Alderton.
Welcome to Days Like This! This wordpress was made essentially for my class at USC, but I also want to take the chance to experiment with blogging and finding my digital identity. I named the site Days Like This because I want to remind myself to always live in the present. A day like today, whether it’s the best or the worst day of my life, is helping me grow to become a better version of myself. And when all my dreams have come true and I look back on the adventure, I’ll be grateful that I have had days like this. Quoting Dominique Mielle, a very successful female figure in the hedge fund world in one of my favorite books of hers, “The real risk in life is to have regrets. If you can, pursue self-fulfillment rather than comfort, conventions, and norms.”
